The state fair has come to Jackson and brought cooler weather with it, as usual; I don't remember a time when it didn't. If I weren't counting calories, I would want to go, but it doesn't appeal to me like it once did. Mike invited Bonnie to go down there this afternoon, but she's got a stomach virus, so fair food is definitely out, and that's what she enjoyed the most. He told Ron he would meet him at the casino in Vicksburg for lunch. Ron goes so much, he gets "comped" meals.

I've put off housework all week, so I'm planning to do that today, and read. I love having the house all to myself without Mike's tv noise. It's a lot more peaceful. I installed my old Scrabble game which has more features than the one I downloaded from the game site, so if I can pull myself away from that I may get something done. Or I may just play Scrabble all day.
